Export Structure Charts

Atlas keeps your legal entity relationships organized and up to date. When it's time to share that picture, export a shareable org chart directly from Atlas without granting platform access. Structure chart exports support strategic transaction decisions and internal alignment, and are ideal for leadership presentations, board reporting, outside counsel, and investor or lender materials where a clean visual tells the story.

Create frames for multi-page exports

This step is not required to export a structure chart, but is a valuable option if you want to export multiple views of a single chart.

  1. Open the applicable chart
    1. From an entity:
      1. In the left-hand navigation, under Atlas, open the Entities page
      2. Use search and filters to locate and open the applicable entity
      3. In the top-right corner, click View Structure Chart
    2. From the saved Charts page:
      1. In the left-hand navigation, under Atlas, open the Charts page
      2. Locate and open the applicable chart
  2. Hold down the shift key on your keyboard and drag to select the part(s) of the structure chart to highlight
  3. Once highlighted, right-click on your mouse and click Create Frame
  4. Choose the frame background color in the top left corner
  5. Input a frame name in the top right corner
  6. Adjust the display of the chart information by clicking and dragging any element
  7. Repeat this process if you want to capture multiple parts of the chart in different frames

Export a structure chart

  1. Open the applicable chart
    1. From an entity:
      1. In the left-hand navigation, under Atlas, open the Entities page
      2. Use search and filters to locate and open the applicable entity
      3. In the top-right corner, click View Structure Chart
    2. From the saved Charts page:
      1. In the left-hand navigation, under Atlas, open the Charts page
      2. Locate and open the applicable chart
  2. In the top right corner of the chart, click the ⋮ icon
  3. Click Export
  4. If you’ve used frames, review the pages and click Export
  5. If you haven’t used frames, choose the Export Format
    1. For PDFs, designate a Name and As of Date
    2. Click Export once more
  6. Share the exported chart as needed
