Atlas structure charts give you a visual overview of your organization's entity relationships. This article explains how to access and customize a structure chart, including chart style, layout, and data visibility preferences.

- Use search and filters to locate the applicable entity and click its name to open it
- On the entity, click View Structure Chart
- Click Chart Preferences in the top-right corner

Chart Style
The chart preferences menu allows you to choose between the Ontra Style, Traditional Style, and the Custom Style. The Traditional Style shows your organization's structure with triangles, rectangles, and other shapes. This style may be more familiar to tax teams and advisors. The Ontra Style option offers a more streamlined appearance for entities and can include shape icons to indicate the entity type. The Custom Style option is tied to your preferences set in your Chart Styles tab and allows for you to utilize stylized attributes you have created.
Layout & Line Styles
Layout and line style displayed may also be customized.
- Staggered Spacing - Creates space between entity shapes to clearly see each one displayed.
- Bezier Lines - Curvy lines instead of straight lines
Data Visibility
Data visible may also be customized. By selecting the checkboxes to include entity data, including Relationship Types, Shapes, Ownership percentage (and Enable Rounding), Share / Unit class, Jurisdiction, Purpose, EIN, Notes*, Show Closed Entities, and Show Comments, a custom chart can be created with a few clicks.
*Notes will appear as footnotes at the bottom of the chart.
*Comments will appear where placed in the chart and persist when saved and exported if selected to be shown.
