View a chronological history log for any entity or structure chart to see exactly what changed, when, and by whom. The history log works at both the single-entity level and chart-wide, so you can have visibility into how a structure has evolved over time.
View the history log
| Atlas users with View or Edit access to an entity can see it's history. When viewing a structure chart, the history log will respect permissions of which entities the users can view or edit within the chart and filter the history accordingly. |
For an entity
- In the left-hand navigation, under Atlas, open the Entities page
- Use search and filters to locate the applicable entity
- Once located, click the entity name to open it's details
- In the top-right corner of the entity details, click the ⋮ icon
- Select View History
- Use the Change Type and Filter by date options to narrow down the history results
For a structure chart
- Open the applicable chart you want to view the history on by following one of the options below
- Go to the Entities page, locate and open a specific entity, and click View Structure Chart
- Go to the Charts page, locate and open a specific chart
- In the top-right corner of the chart, click the ⋮ icon
- Select View History
- Use the Change Type and Filter by date options to narrow down the history results
