If you only use the Ontra Atlas product and see a "You do not have permission to view this page" error after signing in, this can occur for a few reasons and is easy to resolve.
Why this happens
- Your company’s SSO tile or bookmark routes to the another product in Ontra, not Ontra Atlas.
- Your company's SSO tiles/bookmarks may have multiple Ontra options (for different products) and the incorrect one was selected when you attempted to login.
- Your user is provisioned for Ontra Atlas only, so landing on any other page will trigger a permissions error.
How to resolve
If your organization uses SSO to login
- Open your organization's IdP (e.g., Oktra/Entra)
- Click the Ontra Atlas (or Entity Management) tile to authenticate and be logged directly in to Atlas
| If your organization uses SSO to login to Ontra but you don't see an Ontra Atlas (or Entity Management) tile, connect with your organization's IT team to ensure the tile is added and/or you are added to the appropriate IdP groups. |
If your organization does not use SSO to login
- Go to the Ontra Atlas login link provided by your organization or in your invitation email
- Login using your work email and password
Additional troubleshooting steps
- Ensure your browser is up to date (Chrome or Edge recommended).
- Open a private/incognito window and sign in again.
- Confirm your Atlas access with your organization's Ontra admin.
