Set up steps for Owners
Before members of Team and Enterprise plans can use connectors, an Owner or Primary Owner needs to enable Ontra for the organization. Enabling a connector makes it available to your team, but it doesn't automatically grant anyone access. Each person still needs to authenticate individually before they can use it.
- Navigate to Organization settings > Connectors
- Click Browse connectors at the bottom of the page
- Find Ontra in the list and click Add to your team
For EU Customers
- Navigate to Organization settings then Connectors
- Click Add
- Hover over Custom, then select Web
- Enter your connector's remote MCP server URL by copying and pasting: https://mcp-eu.ontra.ai/mcp
- If prompted, name the connector "Ontra" so it is easy for other team members to recognize
- Optionally, click Advanced settings to specify an OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret for your server
- Finish configuring your connector by clicking Add
Steps for members after connector is configured
- Navigate to Customize > Connectors
- Click on the Ontra connector
- Click Connect to authenticate and start using the connector with Claude
For Pro and Max plans
- Navigate to Customize > Connectors
- Click the + button
- Browse available connectors and select Ontra
- Click Connect to authenticate and start using the connector with Claude
For EU Customers
- Navigate to Customize > Connectors
- Click + then Add custom connector
- Add your connector's remote MCP server URL: https://mcp-eu.ontra.ai/mcp
- Optionally, click Advanced settings to specify an OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret for your server
- Finish configuring your connector by clicking Add
Enabling connectors after configuration
To use your connector, click the + button in the lower left of your chat interface, hover over Connectors, and toggle on Ontra. Once enabled, your AI assistant can access data from the Ontra products connected to your account. This may include Atlas entity data, Insight fund and obligation data, or both, depending on the products you use.

- Start a new chat for the refreshed tools to appear
For Enterprise and Edu plans:

- Click the ••• button next to the Ontra connector
- Select Action control
- Click Refresh to pull the latest tools from the MCP server (new tools are disabled by default)
- Toggle on the tools you want available for your workspace
- Start a new chat for the refreshed tools to appear
Troubleshooting
If selected tools still do not appear after following the refresh steps above:
- Confirm the connector is connected and published to the workspace.
- Confirm the new tools are toggled on in the connector details page.
