This article explains how to use Ontra's embedded eSignature feature. DocuSign is built into Ontra's platform so you can review, execute, and track your routine contracts digitally, with the ability to follow up with signatories through automated reminders and reassign signature responsibilities as needed.
How to use Ontra's eSignature feature
1. Review
You receive an email from DocuSign when your agreement is ready to sign. Click Review Document.
2. Execute
- Via DocuSign directly: Enter your name and initials to use an existing style, draw a signature, or upload an image of your signature and click Adopt and Sign.
- Via PDF: Download a copy of the document from DocuSign by selecting Print and Sign from the Other Actions dropdown. Add your signature to the PDF and reupload through DocuSign. You can also email it to your attorney who will upload on your behalf.
3. Complete
You receive a fully executed copy of the agreement via email when the counterparty has signed, and final versions are automatically uploaded to Ontra's app.
4. Track
Navigate to app.ontra.ai at any time to:
- Track the real-time status of a document
- Download partially or fully executed copies
- Run reports and sort and filter your contractual obligations any way you'd like
