Fund permissions enable you to customize who can access and see a particular fund, its relevant obligations, and tasks. Only Administrators, who have access to all funds, can modify the permission settings of Members and Assignees.
Providing access to a fund
As an Administrator, each time you create a new fund, you will need to provision Member and Assignee access to that fund.
Managing one or more users’ fund access
- Log into Insight using your username and password, which will bring you to the Funds page
- Select the Users tab to see the list of members in your organization
- To add fund access for one or more users, click on the Actions drop-down in the upper right corner, and then select Add Fund Access.
- Select the user(s) whose fund access you would like to manage by clicking the checkboxes next to the appropriate names in the Users drop-down.
- Once you have selected the user(s), then check the boxes next to the appropriate funds that the user should have access to. If the user(s) should have access to all funds, click Select All.
- When finished, select Add to update fund permissions
Managing an individual user’s fund access
- Log into Insight using your username and password, which will bring you to the Funds page
- Select the Users tab to see the list of members in your organization
- To add fund access for a single user, click into the row of the individual user whose fund access you would like to manage
- Select Edit next to your account name
- Click the dropdown next to Fund Access to provision access
- Once you have selected the funds for which you’d like to provision access, click Save.
